Youngsters have taken to the courtroom floor to dispense justice.
A mock trial competition was organised by Norfolk Magistrates’ Courts at the final was held at the Great Yarmouth courthouse.
School pupils were tasked with presenting their case to magistrates, court staff and the Crown Prosecution Service gave up their time to judge the contest. High Steward of Great Yarmouth Henry Cator was also in attendance.
The winning team were from Springwood High School in King’s Lynn and the runners up were Cliff Park Academy in Gorleston.

“These youngsters learn so much from it. Not enough praise is given to youngsters these days.”
“They need to understand the criminal justice system for the future of this country, because it is their heritage.”
